So here ends the entry for Saturday 5th April 2014 which brought letter E with it and I ran with it.
I live in a tiny, almost-ghost-town outside of Pendleton, OR, along the Umatilla River. On my property is a large concrete building that once stored water for the steam engined trains that stopped here in the early 1900's. This town died when the steam engine was replaced.
ReplyDeleteCool pics!!
Interesting Information Judy, really sad to hear that town couldn't survive without Steam Engines.
DeleteAmazing shots of steam engines. Well done.

DeleteThe old steam engines are so cool looking. I guess newer models are more functional, but there's something about the old ones I like.
ReplyDeleteThanks J and you are so right :) old engines and machinery seem to have a kind of attraction to them.
DeleteTrains are interesting and fun to travel in. I love the whole getting to the station on time buzz. I've joined your followers
ReplyDeleteFirst of all Thanks SG for following my blog. Again thanks for the comment and yes trains are fun to travel in but here in India every mode of travel is overly stuffed with people we just have so many people its unbelievable. BTW I am following your blog too now.
DeleteI'd probably spend a lot of time around old engines, too, given half the chance.
ReplyDeleteWho wouldn't Tony eh? Thanks for the support sir.
